Ava May Collective is a Canadian jewelry brand founded by a mother and her two daughters — three women with distinct sensibilities, united by a shared appreciation for personal style, meaningful design, and thoughtful craftsmanship. What began as a pipe dream became a reality in the winter of 2022: a brand built on the belief that timeless, personal style should feel both elegant and effortless, modern and truly comfortable.

As the business evolved, the need for a visual identity that could function as a working part of the business became increasingly clear. With more pop-ups, trunk shows, and a growing customer base, the brand required a system that could support its expansion — bringing clarity, structure, and ease to every touchpoint. We created a refined yet adaptable identity that keeps the focus on the jewelry itself, while remaining distinctive, memorable, and able to grow as the founders do.

As part of the broader system, we created a custom floral emblem to symbolize and reflect the three founders. Grown from the same root system, the flower features three distinct buds — each blooming in its own time and direction. Adding a poetic, personal touch to the identity, the mark serves as a subtle anchor that quietly reflects the heart of the brand.

The final identity lays a thoughtful foundation for Ava May’s next chapter — respecting where it began, while leaving room for what’s still to come.
